Friday afternoon, going south
Rama II is at its slowest from about 14:00 to 20:00. Leave Bangkok before lunch if you can.
Sunday afternoon, going north
Everyone drives back to Bangkok. For a 21:00 flight from Suvarnabhumi, leave Hua Hin around 13:30 on a Sunday, or about 14:30 on a weekday.

How much is a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Hua Hin?
฿2,000 by sedan, ฿2,200 by SUV and ฿2,800 by van. From Don Mueang it is ฿2,200, ฿2,400 and ฿3,000.
How long does the drive take?
About 3 to 3½ hours from Suvarnabhumi, 3 to 4 hours from Don Mueang and 2½ to 3 hours from central Bangkok. Friday afternoons southbound and Sunday afternoons northbound are slower.
Where does the driver meet me at the airport?
At Suvarnabhumi on Level 4 (Departures) by Gate 4; at Don Mueang on Level 3 (Departures). The driver's name, photo and plate reach you before the trip.
What if my flight is late?
Give your flight number when you book. A person checks it before the driver sets off, and the 60 free waiting minutes start when you land.
How do I pay?
In Thai baht cash to the driver at the end of the trip. Nothing is charged when you book and there is no deposit. If you can only pay by card, for example because you have not changed money yet, message us on WhatsApp or LINE and we send a PayPal payment link; a 5% fee is added.
Can I cancel or change the booking?
Yes. Cancellations and changes are free up to 24 hours before pickup; after that the fee is 25% (less than 24 h), 35% (less than 12 h) or 50% (less than 2 h) of the price, and 100% for a no-show — also when you pay the driver in cash. We charge the fee by PayPal payment request. A new hotel or address in the same area, a flight number or the number of passengers can be changed free of charge. Message us on WhatsApp or LINE to cancel or change.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, ฿100 each. Tell us the child's age when you book.
Can the driver hold a name sign at arrivals?
Yes, ฿100 on request. The driver waits at the arrivals exit with your name.
Is there an extra charge anywhere in Bangkok?
Only west of the Chao Phraya river (the Thonburi side): a Bangkok pickup or drop-off there adds ฿100–200.

Yes, at the same fixed fare either way: ฿3,000 by sedan, ฿3,400 by SUV and ฿4,200 by van. It is about 260 km, skirting Bangkok's western edge: 3½–4 hours.
Can we go from Hua Hin to the Damnoen Saduak floating market?
Yes, and back at the same fare: ฿2,000 by sedan, ฿2,300 by SUV and ฿2,800 by van. It is about 140 km, about 2¼ hours. It is a morning market, so go early; boats at the market are not part of the fare.
Do you go to Cha-am?
Yes, at fixed fares of its own: ฿1,800 by sedan, ฿2,100 by SUV and ฿2,600 by van from Suvarnabhumi or a Bangkok hotel, and ฿2,000, ฿2,300 and ฿2,800 from Don Mueang. The fare back is the same. Cha-am is about 25 km north of Hua Hin.
Can you take us between Hua Hin and Kanchanaburi?
Yes, at the same fixed fare either way: ฿3,000 by sedan, ฿3,300 by SUV and ฿4,000 by van. It is about 235 km by Phetkasem Road and Highway 323: 3–3½ hours.
